This system combines the compact, environmentally sealed MK17 EVO 2 first stage with the high-performance G260 second stage, creating a regulator designed for precision, durability, and confidence at depth.

The MK17 EVO 2 first stage features a sealed, balanced diaphragm design that prevents water, silt, and contaminants from entering the internal mechanism. Its environmentally sealed dry chamber uses a dual diaphragm system to improve cold-water resistance while enhancing heat exchange, making it exceptionally reliable in extreme conditions. Compared to previous MK17 versions, the EVO 2 is smaller and lighter, thanks to a forged body and optimized twin spring layout that increases both performance and compactness.

Efficient hose management is built into the design, with two opposing high-pressure ports set at a 15° angle, allowing the first stage to be mounted either upright or inverted. Combined with four high-flow low-pressure ports, this layout offers excellent hose routing flexibility for both recreational and technical configurations.

The G260 second stage is SCUBAPRO’s largest second stage casing, engineered for maximum breathing sensitivity in any position. Its air-balanced valve ensures smooth inhalation at varying depths and tank pressures, while metal internal components—including the inlet tube, orifice, hose connector, and inhalation control knob—significantly increase resistance to freezing in cold water.

A diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob allows fine-tuning of airflow to match depth, conditions, and personal preference, while the VIVA dive/pre-dive switch helps prevent freeflows at the surface or in strong currents. The high-flow exhaust valve minimizes exhalation effort for enhanced breathing comfort, and the reversible hose attachment makes the G260 ideal for technical diving and advanced hose routing setups. The included super-flow hose, with its oversized internal bore, further enhances air delivery on every breath.
