The Discover Scuba Diving program is a fun introduction to scuba diving designed for beginners who want to try diving without committing to a full certification course. With Life&Dive, you’ll learn basic dive skills, safety rules, and then enjoy an unforgettable dive in the warm waters of Costa Rica — no experience required!
No, you don’t need any certification or prior experience. The DSD program is specially made for first-time divers. One of our PADI Instructors will guide you step by step — first with a short theory and shallow-water practice, followed by a real dive up to 12 meters (40 feet).
The full experience usually lasts around 3 to 4 hours. It includes a safety briefing, shallow-water practice, and a guided ocean dive. It’s the perfect half-day adventure for travelers who want to explore Costa Rica’s underwater world.
